CCE Inspection and I

It was the CCE Inspection on 14th Sept. 2012. Our School was inspected by SJS School Raebareli. We the class teachers of IX A (Myself), IX B (Mrs Sheeba T., XA ( Mr. G.K. Panda) and XB (Mr. G.K.Panda) became ready to show all the documents that We do in our daily class room practices.

This was an opportunity to show our talents. And that happened. The Inspector and Her team became very happy with our tools and techniques.

Thanks to our Principal Sir Mr. A.K.Tiwary and the team of CCE Chinmaya Vidyalaya Unchahar and thanks to the SJS team for their appreciations to our methods and techniques.

Mr. Harekrushna Behera received Dr. Jakir Hussain Great Teacher Award

Mr. Harekrushna Behera, TGT Social Science of Chinmaya Vidyalaya NTPC Unchahar was awarded Dr. Zakir Hussain Great Teacher Award by the Centre for Social Responsibility & Leadership (CSRL), New Delhi on 8th Feb.’12. He is M.Phil., B.Ed., MBA and has 12 years experience in teaching field.
Mr. Behera belongs to Orissa. He started the job of teaching in the year 2000 as Lecturer (History) in Mangala Mahavidyalaya, Puri, Orissa for the sake of tasting and was fallen in love with it, especially with children. That’s why he did not apply for any other job.
He believes that Love & understanding of a teacher is the ‘half done’ for any teaching. If children like the teacher, automatically subject becomes easy one. Teacher’s personality is everything in teaching.
His subject ‘History’ became the most popular and interesting among all as pupils enjoyed the variety in methods of teaching such as quizzing, debating, storytelling, role plays & other activities. Three blogs for class viii, ix & x in internet for Social Science helped a lot to children to share the subject and focus creativity. He prepared a point’s notes book for class ix and x for board examination.
As a class teacher his class developed first-aid box, class magazine, subject magazine, soft board, elected government, cabinet, current affairs updating & many more.
His class room experiences of 12 years inspired him to write number of articles which are published in different national and international magazines like Teacher Plus, Teacher’s Net, Yes Teacher and CENBOSEC. Fifty of his articles are published in the web pages such as www.articlesbase.com, www.writersadda.com and www.speakingtree.in . He also helped in counseling children of the nation through Face Book account in internet. Thus his efforts to make himself an updated teacher by developing his own skills and motivating students are great. As an innovative teacher who loves his profession and he is an asset for the school.
